Sichuan University, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China, holds a world ranking of 186. The university offers fully funded scholarships covering both tuition and hostel fees. In 1994, the former Sichuan University and the former Chengdu University of Science and Technology merged into Sichuan United University, and then in 1998, it was renamed Sichuan University.
